Pennant Duty Side

Duties

All members of a ‘Duty Pennant Side’, are asked to assist with the following duties.

PRIOR TO PENNANT: TUESDAY THURSDAY SATURDAY
Mats and Jack to all greens. Ladies Men Men
Ensure water fountains are on. Ladies Men Men
Umpire equipment to be put out. Ladies Men Men
Australian & Club flags to be raised.  Men Men Men
Stevenson Thermometer Box put out if the temperature is forecast to be 30 degrees or more. Ladies Men Men
Prepare tables for lunch:
•         rink numbers, serviettes, small spoons & forks
•         table-runners.

Prepare tea & coffee things. Ladies
Prepare tables for afternoon tea. Men Men & Ladies
Ladies require rink numbers &serviettes
Prepare & conduct raffle. Ladies
Nominate someone to welcome visitors if Club Captain absent. Ladies Men Men
Lunch trolley – put into cool-room. Ladies
AFTER THE GAME:
Home team leads to return mats and jacks. Leads Leads Leads
Return the remaining equipment to Clubhouse – especially the Thermometer Box and umpire equipment. Ladies Men Men
Clear tables, return rink numbers to boardroom and wash sandwich containers, cups, etc Ladies Men Men & Ladies
