Manning Bowling Club and the Gala Day Committee Ladies, and Volunteers have put on yet another stunning Annual Gala Day!

It was a themed day being the 17th St Patrick’s Day and there were many ladies that didn’t mind getting into the spirit of St Paddys! – Check out the tables don’t they look stunning in Paddy Day Style? :-D

The salad bar was another great hit with the food always being talked about at Manning whether it be Gala Day, Country Week or any other event for that matter.  Thank you to the all the ladies and volunteers in the kitchen from planning, cooking, serving, clearing oh and our loveable Dish Witches (I did hear someone using a B instead of the W….. *ahem*)

Thank you also to the Bar Staff and Greens/Grounds people!  The greens have been running amazing and there were plenty of positive comments from the ladies in liking our greens and also some St Paddy swigs at our bar with George fitting right into the day …. you are Irish right George?

And finally to the organisers and main operators of the day, the Gala Day Committee and the Umpires, Match Committee and Ladies Captain who spent most of the day busy keeping it running so smoothly…… it was like watching a version of Disney on Ice, so gracefully done!  Brilliant job everyone!
