Manning Eagles 5 A Side Tournament 6th & 7th of October

Manning Eagles Bowling Club is hosting and organising a 5 A Side Tournament over the weekend of the 6th & 7th of October.
20 Teams have entered. Manning have a Men’s and a Ladies side.

Some of the best bowlers in Western Australia will be playing. The Tournament is worth coming along to and getting a close-up on the action. A Calcutta will be held on Friday night 5th October.

 Tournament Prize money:

1st $5,000

2nd $2,500

3rd $2,000

4th $1,250

Best Performed Day 1 not in finals $250

Saturday

All Players to Report to Manning by 8:00am

8:10 to 8:20 Presidents Welcome to all Players

8:25am SINGLES and FOURS

All Players to Report to Manning by 8.15am

Tournament Format

Singles (approx. 2 hrs)

  • 21 up
  • No dead ends, jack will be re-spotted on the Tee
  • A Player may not go to the head until after the third bowl has been delivered.

Fours (approx. 2hrs)

  • 13 ends 2 x 2 x 2 x 2
  • No dead ends, jack will be re-spotted on the Tee
  • Leads, Seconds & Thirds cannot go to the head until they have delivered their second bowl

Pairs (approx. 1.45 hrs)

  • 3 x 3 Bowls Pairs – 15 ends
  • No dead ends, jack will be re-spotted on the Tee
  • Leads cannot go to the head until they have delivered their third bowl.
  • Skips may only visit the head after they have delivered their second bowl.

Triples (approx. 1.45 hrs)

  • 2 x 2 x 2 Bowls Triples – 15 ends
  • No dead ends, jack will be re-spotted on the Tee
  • Leads and seconds cannot go to the head until they have delivered their second bowl.
